  This is the Pastor writing. If you are desiring a church that is friendly, kind, and on a mission to share Jesus Christ and be a light for Him in this culturally upside down world, then you have found the spot. We unashamedly preach truth and grace to all people with no partiality. Our mission is to exalt Christ and to express the depths of His love for all. Service times are Saturdays at 7:00 pm and Sundays at 10:45 AM and 6:00 PM. All people are welcome to worship with us!

  This church on South Grand is not only my second home, but a place to learn about the life of love of Jesus Christ who died for us. We have group of folks who will welcome you with open arms and help one another grow in the learning of God's word. Please join us soon as we are planning many new activities to enjoy .

  A church should not be a resort for the redeemed, but a hospital for the hurting. And that is exactly what Springfield First Baptist is. I find love and acceptance there. I find that I learn more from the teachers and preachers at this church than from any other church I have attended. The senior pastor is a true scholar of God's Word. He loves it and lives it.

  This is a church where the full gospel is preached and the truth of Scripture is taught. The members love Christ and desire to emulate Him in their daily lives. We are not perfect by any means, but God is at work among us.
